A charming little evergreen Azalea which forms a dense, compact mound of glossy green foliage. From early May, Rhododendron 'Silvester' is smothered with small, funnel-shaped pink blooms, each with a darker rosy-red throat. This compact shrub is perfect for brightening up patio containers and makes a good specimen plant for the front of acid borders, woodland gardens and rockeries. Height and spread: 75cm (30").
