Basil Tree

'Basil Tree' is a non-stop harvest plant. The grafted basil will develop a real woody trunk and a massive "Ball head". It can be grown outside in the garden or patio in summer, or placed on the window inside the house in the winter. This tasty variety should be constantly clipped for culinary purposes (leaves consumption) and also for keeping the nice shape of the crown. If the crown is not trimmed it will grow big (50 cm diameter) and will eventually collapse open. If so happened, the crown should be cut back` leaving only 3-5 cm long shoots and it`ll grow back to full size in 2-3 weeks. Remark: The product is better sold in 2 L pots only when the trunk becomes real woody (6-8 months from planting).

This charming tree-shaped basil was created by grafting gourmet Greek Basil to a sturdy, woody root stock. Very decorative when grown in a pot on a deck or patio, or used as a focal point in an herb garden. Bring potted trees indoors to a sunny window during winter to enjoy the rich aroma and for easy harvesting year-round. Trim the ball of foliage regularly to maintain a nice rounded shape, but don’t remove more than 1/3 of the foliage at a time. It’s best to keep the foliage at around 6-9” (15-23cm) diameter. An excellent Basil for salad dressings, sauce or pesto.

Uses

Excellent for adding flavor to soups, sauces, fish and meat dishes. Use leaves fresh, or dry and keep in an airtight container. Wash fruits, vegetables and herbs thoroughly before eating.

Ipomoea batatas is a tuberous-rooted perennial that has been grown for its orange-fleshed edible root for over 2000 years.
Native to South America, this plant is well-adapted to tropical and subtropical climates.  

It will grow successfully over a wide range of climatic conditions where the average frost-free growing season is at least 5 months. Daily temperature must be fairly warm. Consequently, nowadays, the sweet potato is a very popular cultivar throughout the world.

3.'Tomaccio' TM

Tomaccio TM is a result of 12 years breeding work based on wild Peruvian tomato species. The outcome is healthy, deliciously sweet fruits.
These extremely sweet fruits can be consumed fresh or dried.
Tomaccio TM plant is a robust grower and sets fruit early.
Growing temperature: 14-17ºC (56-62F) at night, 23-30ºC (73-86F) at day.
Medium watering: 3-4 times a week.
Fertilization: Use a 6 months slow release fertilizer with NPK ratio of 3:2:2.

Basil is perennial in tropical climates. Its high sensitivity to unfavorable (cold) conditions, however, means that the amateur gardener is only able to enjoy it for a short period. The Grafted Basil increases the survival rate and life expectancy for years, especially if brought indoors once winter arrives. 

5.Ocimum minimum 'El Greco' Grafted

`el Greco` is an upright plant with rounded growth habit and tiny, light green leaves which have a distinct aroma. The white flowers decorate its perfect ball shape. The plant grows up to 35cm (14”). It is native to the Far East. Remove all the side shoots from the main stem, up to the height of 12cm (5”). From then on, pinch once and let it grow to a perfect ball shape.
