	과명 Liliaceae (백합과) 속명 Hosta (비비추속) 전체학명 Hosta 'Golden Meadows' 추천명 비비추 '골든 메도우스' 이명   외국명

 

Hosta 'Golden Meadows' belongs to the most attractive perennials. The leaves have a light green center and a wide blue to green-blue border. These colors are more attractive in the first part of the season. The leaves have slightly wavy edges, which becomes more intense in the second part of summer. It comes from Netherlands, probably 'Sieboldiana Elegans' is a “mother”. But you can see also a part of hosta 'Blue Angel' and hosta 'Great Expectation' in it. But hosta 'Golden Meadows'  is not as big as its parents.
