A dwarf succulent native to western South Africa that forms clusters of thick, pale olive green, club-shaped leaves with semi-transparent, dark green mottled tips and white flowers. In cultivation it does best in drier, warm temperate climates. Lithops is adapted to sparse winter rains and is dormant in summer.
