Grower Information : The best choice for high-light/high-temperature markets, delivering excellent performance when other varieties cannot. The most resistant to rosetting of the PanAmerican Seed series, Florida resists rosetting when sown in temperatures as high as 88°F (31°C), also an important advantage when temperatures are high during the first 1 to 2 months after transplanting young plants/plugs. Excellent both as indoor flowering plants in 4 to 6-in. (10 to 15-cm) pots, and planted outdoors in the garden. Better known as a warm-climate bedding plant, moderately vigorous Florida Lisianthus are excellent Summer bedding varieties. Multiple-sown plugs/young plants of Florida produce the best results. Growth regulators are recommended for 4-in. (10-cm) pots; Florida responds well to PGRs.
