Purple Pearl is a Medium Decorative Dahlia.  Its distinctive blooms are deep maroon in colour edged in white.  In addition to its use in the garden or in patio pots this variety is much used in flower arrangements.

Enjoy red-purple flames of colour with these striking dahlias. The 6", red-purple flowers are finely edged with white and have more purple toward the centre. Flower arrangers adore the Purple Pearl's satin sheen. Plant these dahlias as a back border, preferably in full sun, and enjoy their blooms in the garden or cut-flower arrangements all summer and until the first frost. Lift tubers in the fall and store away from danger of frost in zones 3-7.
