Sedum japonicum 'Tokyo Sun'

 

Brilliant gold foliage on compact mats with a prostrate habit. Requires a spot with good drainage,and hardiness has not been tested, but we suspect it's limit is 7-8. Still, we think this is a deserving subject for trough or succulent gardens.

Tiny elongated leaves are succulent and bright yellow.  Plants have a low growing mounding habit.  Fine texture and vivid color add interest and spice to miniature gardens.  Use as a little low growing shrub or divide carefully to plant as showy accents around the landscape.  A wonderful colorful addition to any miniature planting.

• Grow outdoors in sun to part shade
• Can be grown indoors with very bright light
• Not recommended for terrariums
• A slow grower in spring, but takes off once it gets started
• Divide or take cuttings at any time
