Saxifraga x arendsii 'Pixi Pan Red' forms a dense carpet of fresh green leaves, the pinkish-red flowers stand on high stems and bloom in April/May.

Especially after flowering, the flowers can be completely cut off to preserve a nice compact plant. It is advisable to divide the plants every 2-3 years.
They tolerate sun but not the full afternoon sun, prefer to stand in a cool place in a moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. In heavy soil, adding compost or potting soil is beneficial.
Dislike drought, exposure to cold winds and soggy conditions, this perennial tends to rot in the summer when heat and humidity are too high.
