Description

Cyrtandra minjemensis (also called Minjem Cyrtandra, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 5 meters tall. It is native to the islands of the Philippines, where it grows in dry and mesic forests. It is also found in coastal areas, in open areas, and in disturbed sites.

Cyrtandra minjemensis is used as an ornamental plant and as a food source. It is also used in traditional Hawaiian medicine to treat a variety of ailments.
