Lobelia erlangeriana is a species of clockwork described by Adolf Engler. Lobelia erlangeriana is part of the genus lobelias, and the family of bell plants. 

The species' range is Ethiopia.  No subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life.

This striking little lobelia (a typical alpine & endemic to Ethiopia), is a stark contrast to Lobelia rhynchopetalum which grows up to 6 metres high, also on the Sanetti Plateau and also an endemic to Ethiopia.
