The New Baby Narcissus is a bicolored, Lilliputian, very floriferous variety.
Each bulb bears one to two inflorescences, each producing between 3 and 5 flowers. The flowers, of great originality, are white with yellow stripes and a small pale yellow crown. They are late and bloom from mid-April to May.
Ideal for rock gardens, bed borders or planters, the New Baby Narcissus is a very hardy variety, tolerating both full sun and partial shade. It prefers rich, well-drained soil but also thrives in heavy soil.
The Narcissus come back every year. Unlike perennials, there is no need to fertilize before flowering. Only cut the leaves when they have yellowed and add fertilizer: this is when the bulb reconstitutes itself and prepares the next year's flowers.
