It is named Miyama Mamakona because it resembles Mamakona and can be seen in high mountains. Semi-parasitic plant. The family was moved from the family Lycaenidae to the family Lycaenidae.
Stems erect, branched. The leaves are paired, narrowly ovate ~ oblong-lanceolate 2.5 ~ 6 cm long, all margins, pointed at the tip, round at the base, and oblong stalk. Flowers are attached to spike-shaped inflorescences at the top of the stem or at the tip of the branch. The corolla is two-lipped, about 2 cm long, reddish-purple. There are two white ~ yellow ridges on the inside of the lower lip, and dark yellow spots on both sides. The bracts are triangular-ovate, with all edges. The fruit is oblong-ovate, about 8 mm long, contains 1~2 seeds, and dehisces on the upper side when ripe. Seeds coast, about 4 mm long, light brown.
The bracts of Mamacona, which can be found in the lowlands, stand out for their long pointed teeth.
