Eupatorium sachalinense or Yotsuba-hiyodori (scientific name: Eupatorium chinense L. var. sachalinense) is a perennial grass of the Asteraceae native to China. It is a variety of (Eupatorium makinoi)the joe-pye weed and flower is similar and leaves's shape are different. The leaves of the joe-pye weed grow a pair to a stem, however Eupatorium sachalinense(Yotsuba-hiyodori ) have small jaggedness on leaves and do the leaves of 4 pieces of verticillation to a stem.
It resembles Eupatorium japonicum , , commonly called as the thoroughwort , or Fujibakama,but as for the thoroughwort( Fujibakama, E. japonicum), a leaf does 3 incisions

Long tube-shaped flowers 0.5-0.6 cm, flowering period: 10 months from August.
