A perennial herb that grows mainly in deciduous forests in the mountains. The base of the stem crawls on the ground, and the upper part rises obliquely to a height of 5-10 cm. The leaves are alternate, about 2~4 cm long, wavy edges, and prominent veins. A few pale red flowers are attached to the top of the stem, slightly biased. The jaw fragments are narrowly ovate and about 8 mm long, and the lateral petals and heart valves are almost the same length. Flowers about 1 cm long open sideways. The dorsal sepals and two lateral petals stick together and cover the upper side of the flower. The flowering period is September ~ October. Distributed in Hokkaido ~ Kyushu.
