Takeshimaran (scientific name: Streptopus streptopoides subsp. japonicus) is a perennial plant of the genus Streptopus in the family Liliaceae, endemic to Japan. The stem is branched into two branches. It grows naturally in forests in the mountains and subalpine areas of central Honshu.
The leaves are lanceolate and alternate, and the stems are not hugged. In early summer, small pink six-petaled flowers grow from the leaf axils. The flowers are followed by red liquid fruits.
