A very unusual Buddleja with a mixture of bicoloured purple and white flowers and a few flowers on each raceme wholly white and a few wholly purple. Very floriferous with 15 – 20cm long flowers.
I have been curator of the National Collection at Longstock for the past 15 years and have never seen butterflies so attached to Buddleja flowers
HISTORY
ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO I FOUND A VARIEGATED FLOWER ON BUDDLEJA ‘ROYAL RED’ I SELF-POLLINATED AND SAVED THE SEEDSAfter extensive trials in my garden, I selected the seedling that has been named Berries and Cream.

- Habit: erect
- Eventual height: 2 to 2.5 metre 6-7ft x 1 to 1.5 metres wide
- Hardiness: Very hardy - 20°C USDA zones 5-9
- Leaf colour: Green
- Flowering: Very floriferous. The flowers are 15-20cm (6 -8") in length
- Fragrance: Sweetly scented and rich in nectar
- Situation: Prefers a sunny position
- Wildlife: Excellent for bees, butterflies and other insects. Deer and rabbit resistant.
