Primula sieboldii 'Maimomiji'

An opulent cluster of lacy flowers top upright stems above large, lush, scalloped leaves in spring. The flowers are lavender-rose on the face with white streaking and darker violet-rose on the reverse. The reverse does show and the mix of color is delightful. Native to Japan.

Its clusters of pretty ragged flowers, in a combination of pale pink and dark are held high above attractive lobed leaves during April and May. Prefers a semi shaded moist site where, if happy, it will soon form sizeable colonies. May be dormant in dry summers. Height 15cm (6")
