Deuterocohnia chrysantha is a plant species in the genus Deuterocohnia. This species is endemic to Chile.

Remarks:
It grows forming cushions. Reddish greyish leaves about 20 cm long, wider at the base and with thorns at the edges. Floral scape up to 1.5 m at the end of which the flowers are grouped in clusters. Corolla very closed. Fruit: a capsule with small seeds dispersed by the wind. It coexists with cacti of the genus Copiapoa. It grows between rocks in ravines influenced by coastal moisture. Most populations are in poor condition.
