Neoschmidia (sometimes spelt Neoschmidea) is a genus of shrubs in the family Rutaceae. The genus is endemic to New Caledonia in the Pacific and contains two species.

Neoschmidia pallida is endemic to New Caledonia where it is mainly distributed in the Grand Massif Sud (from Yaté to Houailou) with an extension to the north ouest of Grande Terre (Pouembout and chingou massif).POPULATION
Population size is unknown.HABITAT
Neoschmidia pallida occurs in dense humid forest, galery forest and shrubland on ultramafic substrate up to 1,050 m asl.THREATS
