Description	Habitat: Sandy soils in woodlands, prairies, and disturbed areas. Plant: Trailing or vining perennial with stems up to 5 feet long; foliage has short white hairs. Leaves: Trifoliate-compound leaves; leaflets broadly ovate to round or nearly so, 1-1/4 to 3 inches across; petioles up to 2 inches long. Inflorescence: Elongated racemes 1-1/4 to 12 inches long with small yellow pea-like blossoms; light green densely pubescent calyces. Bloom Period: May to August.
