It's time to welcome a brand new color to the Proven Winners® Heuchera collection! Just like its name, 'Toffee Tart' displays differing shades of ginger caramel throughout the seasons. In spring, newest leaves are amber with a silver overlay. Mature leaves are ginger color with silver overlay. In late summer, leaves mature to green. Since it's a lighter leaf color, we recommend providing at some shade protection (do not plant in full sun). Creamy white flowers are held on burgundy stems. Perfect for brightening up landscapes or serving as a filler in combination containers.

Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.

Starting off in spring, ‘Toffee Tart’ boasts new leaves that are amber color with a silvery overlay, then mature to ginger with a silver overlay. As the season progresses and the temperatures heat up, the foliage fades to a pale green. DOLCE® ‘Toffee Tart’ can be planted in part sun to full shade locations. Since it has a lighter leaf color, we recommend that you provide some shade protection especially during the hot afternoon sun. Blooming midsummer, white bell flowers emerge on burgundy stems. Coral Bells are hardy in zones 4-9 and are a great selection for adding compact mounds of color to the landscape.
