Sedum dasyphyllum is a gauge widespread throughout the Mediterranean, it also occurs in North Africa and Western Europe. In nature, it most often grows on various rocky surfaces and in shallow soils mostly in a sunny habitat. This little frost-resistant Sedum has bold, blue-green leaves. As it grows, it spreads out and forms a soil cover. If grown in a pot, it is spilled and a "spill" is formed. It has white flowers, and in the summer the leaves blush into pink.

Sute, rock gardens and walls on various geological substrates. It grows in places with shallow soil and unconnected vegetation, in dry, dazzled or even semi-shaded habitats. In the southern Alps it performs up to an altitude of 2500 m.
