The reddish-brown aster 'Ribbon Red' is a cultivar that develops a compact habit and grows up to a height of 25 cm. It blooms from July to October and produces beautiful, double, peony-like flowers. Although this cultivar belongs to literally dwarfs, its flowers are lush. Their deep, red-pink color makes them the focal point of any garden finish. The "Ribbon Red" dwarf petals have white ornamental edges and yellow centers, which only adds to their charm. The modest size of the variety that is available in our store allows to grow on the edges and against the background of higher plants. We recommend planting it together with the dwarf aster "Ribbon Blue", wax begonia, yellow marigolds and colorful garden macets.

Dwarf aster (Callistephus chinensis) grows well from both direct sow and seedlings. It should be equipped with fertile, humous, permeable and sufficiently moist soil and a sunny place. The seeds should be sown in the spring. Young plants should be planted in a permanent place in spacing of 25 x 30 cm.
