Description

It is a palm tree that reaches a size of 8 m in height; with proximal petiole margins with only a few fibers; leaves strongly undulating and often quite thick in appearance, visibly waxy-glaucous, greyish-green, rarely almost white or clear, stiff to drooping segments; inflorescences composed of 1-5 panicles, less than or equal to the flower and fruit petioles, panicles branched in 3 orders; fruits 15-22 x 14 -19 mm, globose, often hanging.
