DESCRIPTION

The plants in this beautiful mixed range of the colourful Persian buttercup are dwarf, so make a great addition to front-of-border plantings, or for use in all types of container, from patio pots to windowboxes. Their double, peony-shaped flowers up to 6cm / 2½" across, come in a wide range of colours, including red, white, pink, rose, yellow, gold, orange and purple!

Flowers are held on stems up to 25cm / 10" high. They generally come from May to July, from planting in early spring. However, the tubers may be kept in their dry state, so you can also plant them in late spring for flowering in September and later, which will give your garden a real boost when most plants are past their best. Even better, the blooms are great for cut flowers, with a vase life of up to two weeks.
