Zinnia 'Queen Lime Red'

Zinnias are long flowering annual plants with bright coloured flowers, ranging from white yellow, orange, reds and purple. They can be singles, semi doubles or doubles and vary in size of bloom and height. They make a good cut flower from which the plant benefits by producing more blooms. Bees and butterflies are attracted to them. 'Queen Lime Red' is exotic and unusual with red flowers, flecked with lime.

Queen Red Lime Zinnia is sure to be a standout in the summer garden. The intricate color scheme reminds me of vintage velvet. Zinnia elegans 'Queen Red Lime' is an heirloom zinnia with a beautiful color range of rose and green. Early in the season the flowers are predominantly green. Once the high heat of summer begins the colors definitely moved more into the mauve and rose shades. The flowers are fully double with an occasional single in the mix. Each seed packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds from this years harvest.
