Philodendron 'Birkin' is an evergreen perennial cultivar in the Araceae family. Foliage is glossy and coloured dark green, with stripes of attractive variegation in shades of creamy-yellow. The leaves are oval in shape and grow to around 20cm in length. Mature plants may produce flowering spathes. This tender species should be positioned in bright, indirect light, in well-draining soil for optimal growth, it also benefits from the highest humidity you can provide! This tropical cultivar is a fiendishly popular houseplant in many areas, including the UK. However finding one is another story!
