The oldest tall tulip still under cultivation!
Dating back to 1750, this brilliant heirloom variety is even older than Breck's, but it's still a stunner. Keizerskroon is Dutch for "emperor's crown," a fitting name for this eyecatching tulip whose scented, egg-shaped flowers are intensely red and edged in vibrant gold. This historic variety is also called Grand Duc. Hand selected in honour of Breck's 200th anniversary, it's available for fall 2018 planting in very limited quantities.
