Rosa 'Fred Loads' (F)

Rosa 'Fred Loads' (F) is an orange or orange-red shrub/floribunda rose that can sometimes be grown as a climber. Bred by Robert A. Holmes it was first introduced in 1968, probably a cross between 'Dorothy Wheatcroft' and 'Orange Sensation'. In 1993 it won the Award Garden Merit from The Royal Horticultural Society. Fred Loads (of Lancaster) was an author and a popular panellist on the BBC Radio 4 program "Gardeners' Question Time".
