German breeder Elsner pac will during the upcoming European Flower Trials (June 10-13 in Germany and Netherlands) put its new pelargonium series Bermuda into the spotlight. Bermuda is according to the breeder a completely different type of pelargonium. The series includes now the colours: Soft Pink, Pink, Cherry and Dark Red. “The flowers enchant you with their soft but also strong and vivid colours. A striking feature is the white-coloured centre of each flower. These varieties are flowering extremely early and can be used as flowering house plants in early spring or as balcony plants.”
Elsner pac recommends potting until week 6 at the latest. For early flowering, a cooling period during cultivation is adviced. Flowering takes place from week 14. Furthermore the company reports that special Bermuda pots can be ordered and that young plants are available immediately.
