Geum x borisii is a low-growing herbaceous perennial producing bright orange flowers in summer, held on slender stems above neat, rounded foliage. Found naturally in open woodland, it will grow happily in light dappled shade as well as in sunny spots. A clump-forming, low-growing plant that features single, cup-shaped, bright orange flowers (to 1.5" across) which appear on wiry, branching stems rising above the foliage to a height of 9-12". Foliage mounds up to 6" high with irregularly lobed, medium green leaves. Long, late spring to early summer bloom period may be extended by prompt removal of spent flower stems.
