General Information

Miconia rubiginosa is a shrub or a tree with an irregular crown; it can grow up to 8 metres tall. The bole can be straight or crooked, up to 25cm in diameter.
The tree produces a very durable timber, though only in small dimensions. It is commonly harvested from the wild for local use.
