ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela at elevations of sea level to 600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with large, somewhat ancipitous, largest towards the apex pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, lanceolate to elliptic, obtuse, coriaceous leaves that blooms on a terminal, long-pedunculate, to 30 [75 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence with linear to linear-lanceolate floral bractrs.
