Think of the sun is rising though a spread of clouds, sending streaks divine morning like though them. That is Strawberry Ice. This large flower is a dreamy morning pink with yellow tones towards the base of each petal. Strawberry Ice can sometimes produce plants that produce open centered flowers. This prolific beauty has a taller stature and draws all those nearby to it.

We are proud to share that all of our dahlia plants and tubers are inspected by the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture prior to shipment to assure the quality of the product you receive.

Due to weather and Department of Agriculture requirements, we are unable ship tubers early and our tubers are only available to ship within the United States.

Fill vases with these gorgeous strawberry pink and yellow blossoms or enjoy them in the garden. The 8” Dinnerplate flowers have an Informal Decorative form with slight curling at the edges of the petals. A terrific choice to grow for weddings.

Dahlias are native to Mexico and South America, and hold their display in reserve for mid- to late summer and early fall. The genus offers incredible diversity of color and form and we offer dozens of varieties every year. Dahlias are perennial but not cold hardy – tubers can overwinter in the ground in Zone 8 or warmer; in colder climates tubers can be dug after frost and easily stored indoors over winter. Please note – Dahlias should be planted outside once the danger of frost has passed and soil temperature has reached approximately 60°. We ship tubers beginning in late March and they can be stored until planting time if necessary.
