Red Flash caladiums show off flashy large leaves marked with large red veins and white speckles. Red Flash caladium bulbs produce large plants with tall stems and large leaves. Red Flash is a sun tolerant caladium. Caladium bulbs come in three sizes, #2 (medium), #1 (large), and jumbo. Larger bulbs produce more stems and leaves.

Red Flash Caladiums – Caladium Bulbs

Native to the tropical regions of South America, namely Brazil, Caladium bicolor ‘Red Flash’ is adored for its appearance.

The Caladium bicolor variety ‘Red Flash’ features exquisite leaves of red and green. The red of which appears only in the middle of the plant, almost like blood-pumping veins. 

Bordering this unique coloring of the plant’s leaf is dark green. It can often be seen speckled with white or pink. 

The Caladium bicolor has been laced with common names that refer to the shape of its leaves. To name a few, this plant is known as the Elephant Ear Plant, the Heart of Jesus, or the Angel Wings Plant. 

There are plenty of Caladium variations around. The variety name ‘Red Flash’ is also commonly used to describe this perennial but seasonal bulb.
