Yucca mixtecana García-Mend. is a plant species in the family Asparagaceae, native to the Mexican states of Puebla and Oaxaca. The plant reaches a height of 6 m (20 feet), and has evergreen leaves with entire margins.
Yucca mixtecana is a tree-like evergreen perennial plant with an unbranched main trunk, or sometimes with branches near the top. The plant can grow around 2.5 - 5 metres tall, with a rosette of sword-shaped leaves at the apex of each stem. Individual leaves are around 40 - 65cm long and 1 - 3cm wide

Yucca mixtecana is only known from a restricted area in the Tehuacán-Cuicatlán Valley Biosphere Reserve. The species is utilised locally for many different purposes and even though this currently does not cause a decline in the population, the species grows in low numbers. The plant is classified as 'Vulnerable' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2020)
