ORIGIN: This is a small sized, warm growing Thai species found at elevations of 700 to 800 meters with a woody rhizome and well spaced, squat, ovate, ribbed pseudobulbs that flowers in the winter and has a basal, 1 to 4 [2.5 to 10 cm] long, erect then pendant inflorescence with many flowers arising on a mature pseudobulb.
