여름철 순백으로 피는 홑꽃이 매력적이다. 배달계로 꽃잎에 무늬가 없다. 화이트를 테마로 하는 정원에 심으면 멋진 연출을 할 수 있다. 무궁화 '눈뫼'와도 비슷하지만 꽃이 더 활짝 피는 점이 구별된다. 서울대학교에서 1983년 선발하였으며 '꽃뫼'는 꽃동산이라는 뜻으로 순박하고 아름다운 것을 의미한다.

  Flower is semi-double, pure white, with long pointed outer petals that are ruffled. Flowers are more spreading than the variety 'Nunmoe'.
  
  The name means "flower mountain" in Korean.
